THE SLOPPIEST ROAD TOWARDS POSITIVITY

We all have been listening to various motivational speakers and reading motivational

quotes about positivity since childhood, but how many of us have adapted ourselves

accordingly?

Have we been successful in bringing up optimism in our lives?

Do our lifestyles reflect the beautiful shades of positivity?

If we ever try to answer it with honesty, I am sure that the majority of us will come up with a negative answer. So what is positivity all about? Let us have a short recall of it. It is a particular way of thinking, believing, and behaving which is void of any kind of negativity or pessimism. It means that to be optimistic we need to be role models with certain qualities. These qualities include traits like kindness, generosity, encouragement, helpful, corroborative, constructivism, affirmative and to name a few.

The moment we go through a post on social media about positivity, we immediately get inspired. We feel good about it while relating our lives to it in some ways. Then we passionately like, save, and share it with others yet again on social media. Those inspiring quotes and posts just remain the grace of the social media and phone galleries. Within the very next few moments, all our instantly aroused emotions cool down. We seldom look back at the saved posts and images in our fast-moving lives. Even a time comes in our lives when our phones go through the problems of space shortages and which finally makes us delete them from even the gallery.

Something that once instantly inspired us and that we hoped to make them a part of our lives, could not even stay in our minds, hearts, or even on phones for a reasonable period. So what is the value of all those inspirations? If nobody follows what instantly inspires them then why does the world even promote these things? The answer is that no motivation or inspiration alone can bring about optimism in ourselves. Motivation and inspiration about positivity are more effective when, for instance, we are already at the messiest, chaotic, and slackest route of our struggling life phases and are willing to jump ahead of it by holding those helpful hands. We can only overcome our negative thinking processes, attitudes, and life routines by actually adhering to the basic rules of optimism.

Optimism itself is a medication that works wonders when we adapt to it. Even our minds, bodies, and souls get cured by taking their regular dosage. Medication cures the disease when the patient is willing to get better through treatment. Purchasing medicines and keeping them in the drawer alone does not give any benefit to anyone. Similarly, a person who does not need any medicine or motivation about positivity is going to be less effective or reactive about them. However, a damaged, ill, wounded person can be best healed by those inspirational bodies if the person itself is having strong willpower to recover and prosper.

Hence, a route to positivity is through trespassing the deep forests of darkness with constant willpower to see the sunshine. This urge to never lose hope to win the struggle is itself optimism. In my opinion, there are no simple ways to adapt to positivity. What is your opinion?
